The Downtown Victoria Business Association brings a brand-new, all-ages, all access, free outdoor holiday extravaganza to Centennial Square this holiday season.
From December 20, 2019 through January 4, 2020, Lights of Wonder will delight visitors with its themed light exhibits, light tunnels and a 40-foot festive tree. There’ll also be live entertainment and warm nibbles to indulge in as you enjoy the displays.
DVBA’s Executive Director Jeff Bray says Lights of Wonder is “the perfect reason to bundle up, get outside, and explore all that downtown has to offer. It’s a great way share the magic of the season, sip some hot chocolate, take a selfie or two under our canopy of lights, and then explore other downtown Victoria venues.”
Lights of Wonder also provides an opportunity to give back over the holiday season. The DVBA has partnered with four social organizations to support the work they do in our community, accepting donations on their behalf.
Thursdays through Sundays at Lights of Wonder is designated for one of the four charities: Our Place Society, the Soup Kitchen, CFAX Santas Anonymous, and the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
